This weekend it’s time to wipe off that clown smile from your spooky Halloween face and turn your attention from ‘trick and treat’ to ‘Remember, Remember, the 5th of November’. But before we say goodbye to the spookiest time of the year, it’s worth checking out the best Halloween firework displays. Towns and cities around the world treated us firework lovers with spectacular shows this year!
Here are some of our favourite firework videos from Halloween 2017.
Belfast Halloween Fireworks
Belfast always puts on a great show for Halloween. The carnival atmosphere is filled with fire breathers, fireworks and scary costumes. This year, the firework display didn’t disappoint – there were lots of whistling effects, huge rockets and falling leaves. It was a spectacular display of the power of fireworks.
Salem Halloween Fireworks
When it comes to spending your Halloween in a spooky setting, it doesn’t get much better than Salem. The town in America known for its witch-hunts is definitely worth visiting during the scary holiday season. It’s also a great place to see some stunning fireworks – this year’s show had plenty of gigantic rockets and crackling effects to amaze the audience.
Derry Fireworks
Halloween carnivals don’t get much bigger than the one held in Derry – it’s home to Europe’s biggest Halloween street parties. This year tens of thousands of people took part in the four-day festival over the Halloween weekend. Derry also knows how to organise a great fireworks display. The below video of this year’s show gives you a unique view of the fireworks and really shows the magnificent beauty of fireworks.
Disneyland Halloween Screams Fireworks
Disneyland never disappoints when it comes to putting on a good show. Their annual Halloween season runs from the end of September to the end of October, with tons of Halloween-specific shows and activities. Part of Mickey’s Halloween Party is dedicated to fireworks – and they are magnificent.
This year, the little-over 10-minute show had plenty of colours from purple to red fireworks. The glitter effects were superb and the huge brocades reached unexpected heights.
Newcastle Halloween Fireworks
We also love the firework display thrown by Newcastle. The over 10-minute show is full of great effects. The slow-falling purple palms are stunning and the golden crackle just adds a bit of magic to the big rockets. Newcastle’s Halloween fireworks also played beautifully with the colours – the combination of yellow, green and purple worked wonderfully and reminded us of the Cheshire Cat.
This year’s Halloween parties definitely put a lot of effort in ensuring the fireworks are top-notch. The good news for us firework lovers is that the season of fireworks doesn’t end here. Guy Fawkes Day is just around the corner and it’s guaranteed to produce plenty of great firework videos. Don’t forget to share yours on our social media!
