Earlier this year we brought you a range of posts highlighting some of the most incredible and fun firework related world records in existence. In some cases, the sheer noise and range of colours was enough to blow us away, while others proved amazing in terms of being incredible feats of engineering.
To get you back up to speed, you can reach all of the previous posts below, including an infographic produced in late 2015 that features some of our favourite world records.
Beneath these links, you’ll find some coverage – including videos where they’re available – of the world records that haven’t yet had their own individual post here at the Firework Crazy blog.

Most Rockets Launched in 30 Seconds
This particular world record actually made our infographic, but until now we haven’t brought you the video for you to enjoy.
125,801 rockets were launched by Pyroworks International on May 8th 2010. What makes this record even more impressive is that all the successful rockets were launched within a 17 second timeframe. How much bigger could the record have been? In truth, only a little bigger, as the 16 stacks of 8,000 rockets means there were “only” 128,000 in total. That’s an amazing 98.28% success rate for the rockets that were fired!
Quite the feat for such a big attempt.

Most Sparklers Lit Simultaneously
We’ve all been to parties and fireworks displays where it’s seemed like hundreds of people, particularly children, have had sparklers in their hands.
On July 4th 2014, almost one thousand people at Lake Eva Community Park in Haines City, Florida, achieved a world record for the most sparklers lit simultaneously. The final verified record was announced as 938 sparklers. The record attempt took place at Thunder on the Ridge, the annual local celebration of Fourth of July in the United States, while fittingly it was also the 100th anniversary of Haines City itself.

Most Fireworks Launched from a Pyrotechnics Suit
This is another world record that made it onto our earlier infographic, though despite our best efforts we’ve sadly been unable to find any video footage of this record. It has been verified by Guinness in the normal style, however, so there can be no doubt it is genuine.
The record was set on June 13th 2014, when Frenchman Mazuel Laurent Nat launched 642 fireworks from his pyrotechnic suit.
In absence of the video of the world record attempt, we’ve found the video below. Enjoy!
