Firework Crazy Delivery Charges.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO DELIVERIES BETWEEN THE 23rd DECEMEBER 2017 AND 15th JANUARY 2018.
Although we have seen HUGE increases in delivery charges (our average delivery charge is now in excess of £45) we have done as much as we can to keep costs to a minimum. We are, in fact one of only half a dozen firework companies able to offer next day, nationwide delivery.

We will only charge a surcharge if we cannot subsidise your order, i.e it's of low value. We will contact you if there is a charge to be made and give you the option of paying the charge or cancelling your order for a full refund.

Orders to the Isle of White are currently causing issues so please call us before ordering.
Delivery Details: Where possible please order in plenty of time. If your display is in a few weeks time, put the date that you need your fireworks by in the comments box during checkout. If the comments box is empty, orders will be processed and dispatched in the order they are received. We send an email and SMS text (if you use your mobile number when checking out) when you order has been dispatched outlining when to expect your delivery. If you don't recieve this email withing 5 working days of your display you may call or email us to check your order is on it's way.
OUT OF SEASON - We send out items once a week, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday for delivery before the weekend.
IN SEASON - (OCTOBER TO DECEMBER) - We endevour to dispatch all orders placed before 12pm on the same day you have ordered for delivery the following day. There are no Saturday / Sunday deliveries, so orders placed on Friday will not be delivered until Monday. If you still require next day delivery and it's after 12pm then please call us on 01245 354422 as we may be able to squeeze you in! Unfortunately our next day service is not available to all areas of the UK these areas include the Scottish Highlands and other remote areas. Our next day service is not guaranteed due to fireworks being hazardous goods it's sometimes not possible for the courier to ship them with other hazardous goods. Although this is a rare occurance we like to be up front about it. Please also note that during our busiest months of October, November and December we handle a huge amount of orders and it's not always possible to get these out the same day although we guarantee that your order will reach you in time for your event.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to guarantee delivery for a specific day / date during our busy season. Any dates entered in the comments box will be treated as the latest date you would like your fireworks delivered. We guarantee to deliver ON OR BEFORE this date.
Deliveries will be made during normal working hours, Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 6:00pm
Why is it expensive?
For every order that is placed we subsidise the packing and delivery costs. You may think that our charges are high so we would like to explain the actual costs of delivering fireworks to you. We have broken the costs down in the list below.
Courier initial charge = £20 - £95 depending on area.
Hazardous goods surcharge = £10
Each addtional kilo = £0.40
Special UN Firework Cartons = £3.50 - £7 each - depending on size!
Packaging materials and special labels = £1.00 this covers the costs of the special labels we have to use and all the other packing materials.
Staff time packing = Far too much! - I think they should do it for free, but they don't agree. ;)
So please understand that we would love to ship all our orders for a few pounds or even for free but we're not shipping books or CD's they are explosives and we swallow as much of the costs as possible.
ALL CONSIGNMENTS MUST BE SIGNED FOR
It is important you use an address where someone will be able to sign for your order. Where possible use a business address for your delivery. as it's more likely that someone will be there REMEMBER. Legally, fireworks have to be signed for by someone over 18 and identification may be required.
Failed Delivery Attempts.
If the delivery fails due to no one being present at the premises or not old enough, our courier will usually leave a card for you to get in touch to arrange a re-delivery. Please note that we have to pay the full delivery charge for each attempted delivery so please try to ensure that there is someone available to sign for the fireworks. We reserve the right to charge the re-delivery fee.
We cannot deliver to Ireland / Northern Ireland or anywhere else outside the UK.
Unfortunately we are unable to subsidise shipping for those people who wish to fill their order with special offer items. Many of these items are offered at cost and shipping them would mean we would lose money. We reserve the right to charge the full shipping for orders that are predominantly special offers. You will be notified if this is the case.
Items including free delivery.
Certain items on our website include free delivery. This covers all areas except the isle of white and the following postcodes AB10-32, AB41-42, AB51, DD, DG, PH1-5, PH12-14, AB33-40, AB44+, FK15-21, G63, G83+, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20+, PH6-11, PH15+, SA14+, SY23-25, TR21-25. If you are in one of these areas then we may levy an additional charge.
We try to keep the stock availability on the web site up to date, but sometimes a product may be out of stock, if this happens we will endevour to contact you to find an suitable alternative. If we have to substitute an item it will be with one of equal or greater value. (we are known for ensuring you get far better replacements than you ordered!)
Hopefully you will never need to return a product, but if you do, here are the details.
Damaged Goods. If your goods arrive damaged, you must notify us within a reasonable time so we can arrange for the items to be replaced and collected.
Unwanted Goods. If you decide that you no longer want the items, you must contact us within seven days of delivery. We will then arrange for our specialist courier to collect the items from you. (It is illegal to send the items through the postal service or an unlicensed courier) The items must be unopened and in their original packaging. However you may open transport packaging to inspect the goods. Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the goods.
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.
- You have the right to cancel this order within seven working days beginning the day after the day on which you receive the goods
- If you wish to cancel this contract you must indicate this in writing or another durable medium such as letter, fax, email (provide addresses/email addresses/fax details by which to cancel) within the cancellation period
- You (the consumer) have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession
- You (the consumer) must arrange for the safe return of goods to us, however for fireworks this needs to be done through our specialist hazardous goods courier. the cost of which is to be born by you, failing which we will recover the goods, the cost of which will be deducted from any refund due to you
- Upon the cancellation of a contract we shall reimburse any sum paid by or on behalf of the consumer under or in relation to the contract to the person by whom it was made free of any charge (less any charge made in connection with recovery of the goods) within 30 days of cancellation
- Where goods do not conform to the implied terms set out under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 the cost of recovering the goods will be borne by ourselves.
