Fireworks are a wonderful way to celebrate life’s biggest occasions. When the Muslim Holy Month ended last weekend, fireworks were again a big part of the Eid al-Fitr festivities. We here at Firework Crazy looked around and picked our favourite fireworks displays from Eid celebrations for you to enjoy!
Dubai Fireworks
Dubai is the home of famous fireworks displays and it wasn’t a surprise to see them throw a massive show for Eid. The city’s world-famous Burj Khalifa was at the heart of a massive fireworks and laser show.
Dubai doesn’t do fireworks half-heartedly but you can see plenty of big rockets and colour-coded fireworks. The fireworks display has a bit of everything without it having too much of everything. The weekend’s fireworks display is definitely another reason the city’s New Year’s Eve fireworks are one of the most beloved in the world.
Riyadh Fireworks
Saudi Arabia had many massive fireworks displays on the night of Eid al-Fitr. The country’s streets were filled with celebrating people who held their own street parties with fireworks and good food. The capital city Riyadh had its own huge display and we love it!
This video, filmed from afar, shows just how great the display was! The massive falling leaves look like they keep dropping forever, filling half of the night sky with a glittery glow. The deep colours of orange are especially pretty in our eyes.
Abu Dhabi Fireworks
We’re also in love with the fireworks display from Abu Dhabi. The United Arab Emirates’ capital and second most populous city knows how to create a stunning display to wow the crowds. The large rockets look like they took ages to explode and disappear into the night. The beautiful combination of green and gold also adds a special touch to the fireworks.
Az-Zahraa Islamic Centre Fireworks in Canada
Muslims across the world celebrated the occasion and an Islamic Centre in Canada’s British Columbia created a stunning fireworks display. The display had everything from big rockets to small cakes bursting out glittery goodness on the night sky. The display shows that you don’t need to be a fireworks professional to put on a good show – you can do it from the comfort of your garden too!
Kuala Lumpur Fireworks
Finally, we like this short clip of fireworks in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur. It has all the elements of a good display from big explosions to cute glitter showers. The colours are spot on!
Eid al-Fitr is a wonderful occasion that’s filled with laughter and joy. Fireworks are the perfect way to celebrate it and so many of you did here in the UK and around the world.
While these big celebrations offer us a good reason to enjoy fireworks, you don’t have to wait for a major event to have a good time! We got fireworks to help you add a bit of sparkle to your summer nights. So head down to the online store and create a bit of magic in your garden!
