Fireworks Questions & Answers Part 2
Today’s part three is the final one of this series, until we get some more questions coming on from our new and existing customers. We’ll do our best to feature every question here on our blog as they come in.
When Can I Set Off Fireworks?
One of the great things about living in the UK is that you can use fireworks every day of the year, without exception. There are controls over when you can do it during the day though. You can fire fireworks between the hours of 7am and 11pm. The exceptions to this rule are New Year’s Eve, when you can set off fireworks until 1am, while on Bonfire Night, Chinese New Year, and Diwali, you can use fireworks until midnight.

Can I Take My Fireworks Abroad?
You can try, but the authorities might have something to say about it, and you can land yourself in a lot of trouble doing so! Remember that fireworks are classed as explosives, so you should check any specific restrictions before travelling, even if they’re going in the back of the car.
You definitely won’t be allowed to take them on aeroplanes, and you may be stopped taking them on ferries, too.
Why would you want to take fireworks abroad anyway?
How Can I Enjoy Fireworks While Keeping my Pets Safe?
It is well known that pets can be afraid of fireworks, and for pet owners who don’t care for fireworks themselves, firework season is often an annoying and stressful time of year.
If you love fireworks but have pets yourself, then rest assured you can still enjoy yourself.
The below two blog posts look at this question in further detail.

Where do you Deliver To?
We can only deliver to the UK mainland. You should call us before ordering if you live on the Isle of Man or the Isle of Wight to enquire as to whether we will be able to deliver any orders.
Unfortunately we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland due to restrictions around the transportation of fireworks.
While fireworks laws mean we can only deliver to the UK mainland, rest assured that if we could deliver fireworks around the world, we would do. We get website visitors from all over the planet, and we sincerely wish we could send fireworks wherever our customers wanted them.
Despite the restrictions around delivery we are one of the best priced fireworks companies in the UK when it comes to delivery charges, absorbing as much of the courier cost as we can. Courier delivery costs us in excess of £45 per order, but as of August 2016 our customers delivery fees will never be more than £29.95, with free delivery on all orders over £300.
