Firework Champions 2018 Stanford Hall

The second night of the popular Firework Champions competition is getting closer. This annual event fills six summer evenings with fireworks in some of UK’s most beautiful locations.
Firework Crazy, as always is following the competitions closely and we’re sure these firework displays and events will be among the summer’s best. If you are looking for something fun to do this summer with your family or friends, the Firework Champions events are definitely something to consider.
The first competition took place at Newby Hall this past Saturday, and on July 28th it’s time to head down to Stanford Hall. Here’s everything you need to know about the big night.

The Competition Format

The firework competition is similar to previous years. Each night, three teams will compete to get your vote. The audience truly picks the winner in this competition, as voting happens on the night via text messages.
The groups must perform a 10-minute firework display, combining fireworks with music. There will also be a closing display by MLE Pyrotechnics. The internationally acclaimed group will create a longer show to treat firework lovers.

Firework Champions 2018 Stanford Hall

The second night of Firework Champions 2018 takes place in Stanford Hall. The beautiful ancient parkland area has a rich natural history that is worth exploring prior to the show. Shakespeare’s Avon flows right through the park and it’s hard to find a more serene location. However, there will be a lot of drama and bright colours in the evening once the competition gets underway.

Who’s performing?

The three teams performing at Firework Champions 2018’s Stanford Hall edition are a lovely mix of experience and excitement.

Illusion Fireworks

Oxfordshire’s largest firework group is returning to Firework Champion for the fourth time. The group’s debut in the competition was a huge hit – they took home the top prize in 2015. You can expect plenty of colour and stunning effects from this group.

Firemonkey

The newcomers of the night will be Firemonkeys. The group is fairly new although they have been performing in councils across the West Midlands. This new group is certainly hungry for success. You should be prepared for a lot of stunning choreography and exciting colours.

Phenomenal Fireworks

Phenomenal Fireworks is the other returning team on the night. The group has crafter some stunning pyromusical displays to clients like ITV and British Telecom. The team’s performance at Firework Champions 2018 will be the sixth year running. You can expect to experience a lot of great tricks and plenty of wow factors with this team.
