This stately home of the 9th Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford is the location for the fourth instalment of this year’s Firework Champions. The competition is one of the most exciting firework events in the UK and Fireworks Crazy has all the information to help you get involved with this event.
The competition format
Firework Champions follows a simple format that ensures the power to decide the winner is in your hands. The event takes place across six nights, all of which will have its own standalone competition. The winner is chosen by the audience via text message voting – this is a competition that’s all about getting the audience to enjoy the show!
Each event will feature three competing teams. In addition, you get to enjoy a stunning grand finale by the organiser MLE Pyrotechnics.
Firework Champions 2018 Ragley Hall
The fourth competition is taking place in Ragley Hall in the county of Warwickshire. You can experience the fireworks on September 1 – a fun way to start the new month!
The location is open for entry from 5.00 pm onwards and you can find plenty of entertainment and good food prior to the show. On a lovely day, the Ragley Hall area is a beautiful place for a picnic.
The teams will start performing after 9.00 pm, with the voting opening at 10.15 pm. MLE Pyrotechnics will perform the closing display at 10.30 pm, after which the winner will be announced.
Who’s performing?
This year, Ragley Hall will feature amazing performances by these three display groups:
Cambridge Fireworks
Cambridge Fireworks’ history goes all the way back to 1956 so they are among the oldest performers in the whole of Firework Champions. The small group has been creating local displays in Hemingford Grey in Cambridgeshire for decades. They will bring a lovely breath of experience and fun to the show for sure!
Skydazzle
This family-run fireworks group is quite a seasoned performer at Firework Champions. The group provides displays to weddings and corporate events, constantly aiming to create something different for the audience to enjoy. They are proper pyromusical professionals so you can expect a stunning show!
G-Force Fireworks
G-Force Fireworks is based in Evesham, Worcestershire and the group specialises in firework displays to public and private functions. They are always using the newest and most exciting fireworks and they have been the runners-up twice in the British Fireworks Championships.
