You know summer is going by fast when you realise we’re about to reach the halfway point of Firework Champions 2018. Two big shows are behind us and it’s now time to move the show to Belvoir Castle.
If you are thinking of things to do on these hot summer nights, we here at Firework Crazy recommend you head down to this beautiful location on August 11 and experience a thrilling fireworks competition.
Here’s all you need to know about Firework Champions and how to get involved with the competition at Belvoir Castle.
The competition format
Firework Champions is a six-night event, organised by MLE Pyrotechnics. On each night, three teams will be competing by creating a firework show to wow the crowds. The great thing about this particular competition is that the audience can pick the winner. Voting happens via text message and you can read more about it on the official website.
The competition takes place in stunning locations across England. The unique setting adds great atmosphere to the events and makes the fireworks look even more exhilarating. You can also prepare for the main event by exploring these locations, their beautiful gardens and buildings.
Each night will also feature a grand finale by the organiser MLE Pyrotechnics.
Firework Champions 2018 Belvoir Castle
This year, the third night of the competition takes place at Belvoir Castle. The castle has been the home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland for over thousand years, although the current Castle is the fourth to have stood on the site.
