The summer is drawing to an end and that means Firework Champions 2018 is also heading for its grand finale. The six-night extravaganza will finish off with a wonderful competition in Arley Hall.
The attractive and unique stately home will host the final night of Firework Champions 2018. If you’d like to get involved and experience three stunning fireworks displays this September, here is the information you need to be part of the show.
The competition format
Firework Champions is a firework competition and its design is to support British firework talent. The organisers invite three teams to compete on six summer nights to various beautiful locations and then the audience picks its winner. That’s right, the power is in the hands of the audience, as they choose the winner for each night via text voting.
MLE Pyrotechnics, who is the organising team, will also host a closing display. This year, we’ve already seen stunning shows in places like Belvoir Castle and Ragley Hall and the final night is about to happen in Northwich.
Firework Champions 2018 Arley Hall
The current Hall house stands in the same spot as the original house built by the family in 1469. That house was unfortunately destroyed in a fire but the family built another house in its place. The beautiful home is surrounded by a large garden and the oak panelling adds a unique style to the building.
The competition will happen on the 15th of September. While you can enter the premises from 5 pm onwards, the firework displays won’t start until after 9 pm. There will be, however, live music and other entertainment prior to the display so you should definitely come ahead of time to enjoy the party.
You can find more information regarding the event and find accommodation suggestions on the Firework Champions website. That’s also the best place to book tickets and if you do it online, you get a lovely discount!
Who’s performing?
As ever, Arley Hall will witness three displays on the big night. The performing teams are:
Magic and Miracle Fireworks
The group creates bespoke pyromusical displays and they’ve performed at Firework Champions before. They’ve had plenty of success, performing to corporate clients like John Deere and Pandora. Magic and Miracle Fireworks always has a trick or two up their sleeves so be prepared!
Dream Fireworks
Dream Fireworks is a big fireworks company, which doesn’t just create displays but it’s also part of a wider company that produces fireworks. Its roots are in China and the group performs all across the globe. Expect a big display with impressive effects!
Star Fireworks
The family business has been performing since 1971 and it’s grown into an internationally renowned display group. The group has been creating displays to a wide range of clients, ranging from the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers to Dame Shirley Bassey. The pyrotechnics group will put on a massive show!
As sad as it is to say goodbye to Firework Champions this year, we at Firework Crazy can’t wait to see what the groups do. The show in Arley Hall is sure to be amazing!
