The summer of exciting fireworks events continues this coming weekend with the fourth instalment of Firework Champions 2017 event on August 19th. This time our attention turns to the beautiful Arley Hall.
Let’s see what the Firework Champions 2017 Arley Hall show will have in store for the crowds.
Firework Champions 2017 – What’s it about?
Firework Champions is an annual event that takes place in various beautiful locations across the country. All the locations are historic and offer just the perfect backdrop for a stunning fireworks display as well as for a day out for the whole family before the events themselves in the evening.
During the event, you’ll get to enjoy a display from three different pyrotechnic teams. You’ll be able to vote on your favourite display via text message and crown the winner.
Since fireworks are centre stage, you won’t just get to enjoy three displays on the night. MLE Pyrotechnics, the organiser of the events, perform following the final competition display, a show which is always worth waiting for.
How Can You Get Involved with Firework Champions 2017 at Arley Hall?

Arley Hall is found between Northwich and Warrington, and is easy to reach from the M6 and M56 motorways wherever you’re travelling from. The gates to the event open at 5 pm and you must enter the grounds before 9 pm. The displays kick off around 9:30pm with the winners announced around 10:40pm.
There will be plenty to do before the fireworks. You can take your own picnic basket with you or treat yourself to the amazing food and drinks stalls available. You’ll also find plenty of entertainment, such as live music and children’s events, ideal whether you’re arriving early or have spent the day looking around the grounds at the venue.
You can find more information and book your tickets at the official Firework Champions 2017 website. Early bookings receive an online discount, giving you a saving against paying on the gate upon arrival.
The Performers at Arley Hall
As mentioned, the finale to the event will be provided by MLE Pyrotechnics. However, you will see three hungry teams compete for the crown before that. The teams at Arley Hall are:
Optimum Fireworks
Optimum Fireworks started performing in 2009 and it has already won three previous Firework Champions titles. Optimum has also had the honour of performing at Jamiroquai’s birthday celebrations and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Blitz Fireworks
Blitz Fireworks is not a newcomer either – the group has taken the title five times. With such a strong history in winning the event, as well as years of experience in creating stunning pyromusical shows, the team will be ready to take on any challenge thrown at them. Here’s a taster of their firework display skills:
Phenomenal Fireworks
Finally, you have one more team returning to the Firework Champions event, as Phenomenal Fireworks will take the stage. The group has worked with clients as prestigious as Channel 4 and the BBC – expect a fierce competition for the top spot from Phenomenal Fireworks.
