A week has passed already from what was one of the biggest gathering of firework fanatics in the UK for a very long time. With some amazing displays and fireworks not usually seen in the UK such as a mascaletta and 10" & 12" shells. It was something else!
The event was a semi private affair for it's first year which is why we couldn't shout about it before hand, but future events will be open to all.

Just returned from the Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham. Had a great chat with a good few firework suppliers. Looks like there will be some great new items available for the 2011 firework season. Watch this space......

Just opened todays post to find the new 2011 Fireworks International brochure.
Looks like some great new lines from small 25 shot cakes to 81 shot fanned single ignitions, there's even a 240 shot cake with a retail of £29.99. Will be interesting to see what it's like.
With regards to pricing, Some items have increased by a pound or two as expected with the VAT and cost increase but many have remained at the same prices as 2010. So not looking too bad.
I will be poping along and having a chat with Graham and the team at the Spring Fair next week and will update this thread with any other interesting news.
